SALMON LOX WRAPS

Smoked salmon lox and bagel, this west coast favourite is a nice alternative to eggs for breakfast, or makes a nice lunch or even appetizer. Although typically served on a bagel its easy to modify and still enjoy all the flavours with the simple elimination of the bagel!




INGREDIENTS:

Salmon lox
Butter lettuce (Romain works too but is harder to fold)
Avocado
Capers
Red onions
Carrots
Green onions (or chives)
Cream Cheese (Salmon or garlic creme cheese is a nice alternative)

DIRECTIONS:

- Place avocado slice onto butter lettuce leaf
- Spread creme cheese on top
- Add slice of lox and then place desired amount of carrot , onion and capers on top
- Roll and serve on plate (Option of using toothpicks to keep them closed if being served as an appetizer)
