CHOCOLATE AVOCADO VANILLA CINNAMON PUDDIN WITH BLUEBERRIES AND ALMONDS

Last week when I made the Raw chocolate raspberry ganache cake the avocado chocolate frosting tasted so good I wanted to do something with chocolate and avocado again! One of my best friends introduced me to the idea of Chocolate and avocado a year ago or so, you got to try it! The texture is just like pudding! This recipe is a cup full of antioxidants, healthy fats and oil and its all just so delicious!

CHOCOLATE ORANGE COCONUT PULP COOKIES

Okay round 3 on the pulp making cookie experiments! Chocolate and orange, this cookie reminds me of a Terrie's chocolate orange :)

HAND MADE PALEO GNOCCHI WITH MEAT BALLS AND TOMATO SAUCE

Saw this Idea on www.fastpaleo.com , I remember when I was in Italy we enjoyed the fresh made Gnocchi that were sold in little markets on the streets, we topped it with fresh pesto or tomato sauce, it was so good! It has been almost 2 years since I last ate pasta ( although Gnocchi is usually made of potatoes and flour it kinda classifies in the same category for most people) This recipe was a sure success! My taste buds thanked me after all the hard work and I'm sure yours will too :)

RAW CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY GANACHE CAKE

Its been a while since I made any tasty treat ( compared to all the baking I did over christmas at least!) I found this recipe in my new book " Ani's Raw Food Deserts", It looked to tasty so I just had to try it! I was not shocked to soon find out that it taste just as amazing as it looks :)

BASIL PESTO CHICKEN OVER BABY SPINACH W/ TOMATOES AND AVOCADOS

This week I have gone pesto crazy! I have been trying all sorts of new things with the pesto I recently made :) You can't go wrong with pesto & chicken together.

PRAWN SAUTEE W/ CABBAGE, PEPPERS, SPINACH, TOPPED W/ HEMP HEARTS & PESTO

Seafood and pesto go so well together! I love Prawns and pesto , so what not better a combination. This dish is full of colourful veggies, lots of nutrients here!


VEGGIE OMELET WITH CITRUS GARLIC AIOLI & ELK SAUSAGE

Yesterday when I went to my new chiropractor I noticed that right next to them was a butcher shop. I have been wanting to find a new Butcher shop to get all my meats from and now I have! This place was great. They sell many cuts of local grass fed beef/chicken/pork, all of which are hormone & vaccine free. Its hard to find anything even close to this in the regular super market. I was happy to see they even made a home made "Elk" sausage , Elk is not raised on a farm here, so some one with a license to hunt gets the meet for them. You can't get better than natural meat hunted in the wild! (The sausage by the way was fantastic, it was not dry and had lots of flavour) I also picked up some naturally smoked bacon ( nitrate free) and some local grass fed ground beef. I think I'm going to be a loyal customer of theirs from now on, definitely going back!

This is a perfect primal breakfast, so tasty!

APPLE LEMON PULMP COOKIES WITH CRANBERRIES AND SPICES

More creations with juicer pulp :D! its fun to invent something with what would normally go in the garbage/compost, instead I'm using every bit to make healthy delicious snacks! These lil guys turned out awesome, its my Paleo version of an apple fritter, top this Tim Hortons :p

PALEO SPICED RACK OF RIBS

Slow cooked ribs, you can't go wrong! the flavours for this recipe are sure to be a house hit! The meat just falls off the bone, so tender! A perfect primal meal,  delish :)


BASIL PESTO

I have decided to start making my own condiments, nothing beats home made! All the preservatives and additives in store bought condiments are terrible, it is my goal to try and make all my own fresh condiments, sauces and seasoning. I made this basil pesto and wasn't surprised to notice how much better fresh home made condiments taste! check it out~

CARROT GINGER PULP COOKIES

Well this new juicer I got for christmas is awesome! I have been juicin' up a storm but there definitely is a lot of pulp waste :/ I looked online and saw that people were using the pulp to make cookies crackers ext... So i decided to make my own "paleo" friendly ones! These lil guys are super healthy and just a bit sweet to please the taste buds :)

LEMON PRAWN SALAD

Mix it up! The new MIXT salads book I bought recently has inspired me to incorporate  more delicious salads into my diet this year! On top of that Im cutting out dairy completely from my diet for the month of January to see how it affects my body, I ate very minimal dairy before, mainly just a bit of cheese on occasion and some cream in my coffee, but I have never given it up completely, so here is to new years resolutions haha!
